Get the Look: Sultry Arabic Eyes

I wanted to try something a little different with the way I presented which products I used to achieve the look of the day.  I am a very visual person and thought it would be a neat idea to make a collage of all the products used to create the look.  Being a big fan of design and inspiration boards,  I would like to think of this collage as an inspiration board in itself.

The look I created today was fun, sexy, and sultry.  I usually don't plan the eye makeup I will be doing, and I like to see where my creativity, and the colors take me.  Today's look speaks for itself!

Maybelline "Fit Me" Foundation Review

Hi Lovelies!

I wanted to do a review on the Maybelline "Fit Me" foundation. I was interested in seeing for myself what the buzz was about as people were comparing this product to Chanel's Vitalumiere Satin Smoothing foundation (I know!). Well, after using the product for a week now, I am confidant in my review and hope that it may be helpful for those of you who were really wondering if this foundation was really as good as it sounded!

At first glance, after applying the foundation, my skin looked and felt amazing. But, unfortunately, after the first two hours, the coverage got completely lost, and my skin became very oily. I have combination skin, so my skin is neither on the oily side or on the dry side. In addition, the coverage of the "Fit Me" foundation is sheer to medium but is absolutely build-able. I would recommend this product to someone with very dry skin and for someone who prefers a more sheer, lightweight coverage. On the brighter side, I do like the way the product felt on my face as it was very lightweight and fluid-like and did not have a thick consistency.

Hope this review was helpful!
